Nymphaea caerulea or Blue Lotus or Blue Water Lily or Egyptian Lotus is regarded as the most valuable lily in the world. It has deep blue color with very sweet and adorable fragrance. The beautiful blue lily opens its flower in the morning and close late in the afternoon for several days before it dies down. Several hundred of seeds float to water surface and start to sprout after about 2 weeks, producing several hundred of new Nymphaeae caerulea .

        Nymphaea caerulea was used in an ancient time of Egypt as a key to good health, sex and rebirth. The blue water lily was possibly also a symbol of sexuality.
